Our Wedding Altar.
Wood + Brass
We conceive of and built the alter sa a symbol of togetherness and unity. The shape of the rails is derived from our wedding logo (designed by our dear friend Jean Nebesar), the forces of which act together, along with gravity, to generate the beautiful caternary suspended form.
After our wedding, we had a chance to display it as part of Art on Beltline 2015 on the Eastside trail. Although it was only suppose to be up for a few short months, it continues to hang under the highland overpass on the Beltline nearest to Parish resturant. In one night during the lantern parade, over 20,000 people passed by it. We are honored to have our symbol of unity be seen by thousands of passers everyday.
