How do you re-invent a stroll in the middle of the Siene without taking away from Paris?
We proposed to stretch an infinate cloth other the whole thing, cutting away for vistas and incoporating interactions within the landscape. We allowed pedestrians to become part of the fabric as it became part of them. Three main experiences guided the concept, interacting with the "untouchable" Seine.
How nice would it me to swim in the Seine? A Basin was created to capture a portion of the water.
How would it feel to walk on water? We provided an area.
How would this addition give back to the city? We incorporated miniture solar panels that would collect light during the day, and illuminate the walk by night with luminecent fabric.
