In an urban setting, the plaza is empty space that allows vistors to bring life through their interpretations. In atlanta, we have many empty spaces, but no visitors. This competition entry creates a desitination as well as a point of entry for Atlanta Fulton County Library. It becomes an intimate landmark for patrons to participate with.

It is: a plaza within a plaza of activity, a hidden jewel, an urban introduction that enhances the existing space, utilizing the street front, horizontal and vertical aspects of building. It announces itself, asserting its position, demanding attention and giving back to community with a 24hour "Share Book" kiosk and projection screen.
